Soon to be a Tennessee Girl....but always a Wildcat

Welp, in 11 short days my semester will be over and this born and bred Kentucky girl will be a Tennessee girl. I'm not sure how exactly I feel about this. I am extremely excited about moving in with the hubs, but the whole UK v UT rivalry makes me despise bright orange- and I will now be living in the Orange state. Luckily, I'll be right across the border from Kentucky so I won't be the only one bleeding blue but still, I hate going into Walmart and seeing UT clothes instead of UK shirts.

Once school is out and I have a lot more time on my hands I hope to update this more often, but until then lil Smudge is making mommy crave Mac n Cheese and I have homework to do.

Why I don't believe in global warming....

So I haven't gotten off to the best start with this blogging thing but I'm going to try to get better at it. Normally I struggle picking a topic so I think I may pick a theme of the week or something. Idk, we'll see. Today though, it's all about this bone chillingly cold weather.

I think that global warming can be disproved based on this weather. I know there is research disproving global warming and not everyone believes it but this weather should. It is so stinking cold! Walking across campus is TERRIBLE! I can get all bundled up and everything but my face stays warm. Plus I am so sick of snow. Although, I will say if it is going to be cold I would rather see campus covered with a blanket of snow because at least it's pretty.

However, if it were up to me, it would already be April with lots of pretty flowers and I could be going to Keeneland on the weekends to bet on horses.

I actually miss those sticky summer days. I can't wait to make fresh squeezed lemonade and the return of summer BBQ's. But for now, I'll enjoy this hot chocolate while doing my homework.

Doctors and Boyfriends

So today it's all about the dr. I get quite frustrated at times with them. So many times I go and they can't tell me whats wrong. They'll have tests run only to come up with more questions than answers, so ANNOYING!!!

Anyway, today I am going to the lung specialist here at home to find out why my lungs are not functioning properly. Well hopefully I find that out.

Afterwards, I'm driving down to my boyfriend's and we are going to escape for a couple of days to Chattanooga. I'm so excited! I'm considering going to grad school there so it gives us a vacation as well as checking out the town to see if we might want to live there while I go to school or even permanently.

Also, we are exchanging Christmas presents while we're there. I know he hasn't even gotten mine yet. He went to get it last night but the town he lives in does not have much and he didn't get off base til later than expected so he couldn't run down to Nashville to shop. Could be interesting.....

It's official, I'm a blogger

So, this Southern Belle has decided to start a blog. I think it will be an interesting adventure. Who knows what I'll talk about, I guess what ever my little heart desires. Probably fashion, my Wildcats, my soldier, my dumb blonde moments, my obsession with cooking, my Heavenly Father who loves me, or my crazy family and friends.

I'm not sure, all I know right now is I'm officially a blogger, my Wildcats won tonight, and tomorrow is busy so I should go to bed.
